We are pleased to provide on this page a few pictures from a selection of the events we will have hosted, sponsored or attended during 2020. However, with the COVID Crises there are not many and instaed are included on the other pages. We hope that in 2021 we will have more to show when the crises eases. To look at pictures from the past few years we have included an archive for reference at the foot of this page.
| RDA Riding for the Disabled - January 2020 What better way to start the year than showing a few pictures of the work that we do supporting the RDA and their work with children with special needs. The pictures show Lion Brian Richens and the pony "Liquorice" and Ryan in the saddle, enjoying the reunion after Christmas. | |
| Senior Citizens Party - 25th January 2020 The Club once again hosted a party for the 148 Senior Citizens of East Grinstead at the Sackville School. On arrival the attendees were treated to a glass of wine or a soft drink and invited by a small team of Girl Guides to take their seats for the show, which included The Skuffle Group, The Sussex Kings of Harmony and Magician Roy Plumbridge. The winners of the draw in the 200 Club were announced and then followed Tea and Cakes, during which the raffle was drawn with prizes presented by Deputy Town Mayor Cllr. John Dabell and all were invited to have a sing-a-long with Wendy Colville at the piano. Finally for the journey home everyone was presented with a box of biscuits. | |
