East Grinstead & District Lions Club CIO
Over 50 Years of Service
This website is the home of the East Grinstead and District Lions Club CIO (a charitable incorporated organisation) which has been serving the people of East Grinstead and District since 1968. The picture below shows the International Flag Set including all the nations in the world where there are Lions Clubs
The Club is thus part of Lions Clubs International, the largest service club organisation in the world, with more than 1.3 million members, serving their communities in 205 countries. The Lions Club year runs from 1st July to 30th June. This website addresses our annual calender of activities and these can be viewed on the Service and Fundraising pages. The purposes and ethics for our organisation are clearly defined. We are very active in and around East Grinstead. For example in the year 2019/2020 we donated over £32,000 to over 50 local and international charities, including disaster funds in the United Kingdom and abroad and gave over 3800 hours of voluntary service.
If you think you can help us & the local community and would like to have some fun whilst you do it, why not Volunteer A Little of YOUR Time.
